Restaurar Burg luego de actualizar Grub

Luego de actualizar el sistema desapareció burg, tampoco pude entrar a mi distro . Asi que  explicare como recuperarlo

desde Un livecd abrir un terminal y hacer esto:

sudo fdisk -l

Unidad donde esta instalado linux en mi caso “sda9”
sudo mount /dev/sda9 /mnt

Ahora

sudo grub-install –root-directory=/mnt/ /dev/sda

Con este mensaje nos avisara que todo salio bien:

Installation finished. No error reported.
This is the contents of the device map /mnt/boot/grub/device.map.
Check if this is correct or not. If any of the lines is incorrect,
fix it and re-run the script `grub-install’.

Hasta aqui grub se corrigio… pero y burg?

simplemente entramos a nuestro distro ya sin live cd.

abrimos un terminal y pegamos

sudo burg-install “(hd0)”

Ya burg deberia reaparecer tal y como lo dejamos… 🙂
